In the name of God Amen I Francis Glanvill of Stadhampton in the County of Oxford Carpenter being in Perfect Health and Sound in Mind I thank God Do Make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following First it is my Desire that my Funeral Expences Debts and Legacies hereinafter mentioned be paid and discharged And Whereas I am possessed of four tenements and Premises at Stadhampton aforesaid which is now in the tenure or occupation of James Edwards Ann Agnes William Lowe and Jonathan Woodly I Given and Bequeath the said four Tenement and Premiss to my Wife Ann Glanvill for and during her Natural Life On Condition that she shall keep the same in good Repair and shall not cut down any Tree or Timber growing thereon or commit Waste on any part of the Premisses aforesaid And after the Decease of my said Wife I Give and Bequeath the Two Tenements now occupied by James Edwards and Ann Agnes with their Appurtenances unto my Wifes Nephew John Green of Lambourn in the County of Berks on condition that the said John Green does pay unto William Curtis of Lambourn aforesaid (my Wifes Brother) or his heirs the Sum of Ten Pounds within One Year after he shall by virtue of this Will become entitled to the Possession of the said two Tenements Also I give and Bequeath unto William Lowe aforesaid (after the Decease of my said Wife) the two other aforesaid Tenements namely the Tenement he now lives in and That rented of me by Jonathan Woodley on condition that he the said William Lowes doth pay to my Sister Hannah Whitmum or her heirs the Sum of Twenty Pounds within One Year after he shall become posssessed thereof Also I Will that an Inventory be taken of all any Money Book and Bond Debts Morgages Notes of Hand and Stock in Trade of what kind soever Also I Give and Bequeath unto my said Wife the Sum of Fifty Pounds Also I Give and Bequesth unto Joseph Jessups of Lambourn aforesaid or his Heirs the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I Give and Bequeath unto John Sanford of Lambourn aforesaid or his heirs the Sum of Ten Pounds All which said three last mentioned Sums of Fifty Pounds Ten Pounds and Ten Pounds are to be paid by my Trustees out of any Money and Stock aforesaid And after payment of the said Sum of Money It is my Will that the Interest of the Remainder of the said Money Book and Bond Debts Mortgages Notes of Hand and Stock in Trade be paid to my said Wife during her life and after her Decease (the aforesaid Debts and Legacies being first paid and discharged) such Remainder of the said Money Book and Bond Debts Mortgages Notes of Hand and Stock in Trade be equally divided among any Brothers and Sisters or their Heirs and if any of the above named are not satisfied with what I have done and shall go to Law It is my Will that such Person or Persons shall be excluded from any benefit which they or any of them might receive or claim under this Will Also I Give and Bequeath unto my said Wife All any Household Goods Furniture and Wearing Apparell of what nature or kind soever to be at her own disposal And I do hereby Appoint Robert Richmond and William Cobb both of Stadhampton aforesaid Executors and Trustees of this my Will and beg their Acceptance of One Guinea each for their Trouble And all the Rest and Residue of any Estates both Real and Personal whatsoever and wheresoever not herein before Bequeathed or settled otherwise in any Marriage Articles with my said Wife I do hereby Give and Bequeath to my said Wife to be at her own Dispooals And I do hereby Revoke all former and other Wills by me made and Declare this to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Sixth day of October in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy.
