In the name of God Amen I Joseph Glanvill of Clifton in the County of Oxford Taylor do this Fourth day of October in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Firty Eight make and publish this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Mary Glanvill my House which I now live in Standing and being in Clifton aforesaid and also the Garden thereto belonging with their and every of their appurtenances To hold to her my said Wife during her Life Upon Condition that she my said Wife do ****** and continue unmarried ***** decease during the Remainder of her life But if she my said Wife should marry again after my Decease Then from and immediately after such her Marriage Or after her death in case she not not marry again I give and Devise my said House and Garden with their and every of their Appurtenances unto my son George Glanvill his Heirs and Assigns for ever. Also I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Mary Glanville during her life *** *** **** Plate Bedding Linen Woollen Household Goods of what nature or quality so ever Upon Condition that she my said wife do and shall continue unmarried after my decease during the Remainder of her lief but if she my said Wife should marry again after my decease Then from and immediately after such her marriage Or after he death in case she do not marry again I give and bequeath all such my said Plate Bedding Linen Woollen and Household Goods unto my Daughter Martha Green All the Rest and Residue of my Personal Estate (my Debts and funeral Expences being first paid and discharged) I give unto my said wife Mary Glanvill And I do make and ordain my said wife Mary Glanvill Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Glanviil have to this my last Will and Testament sett my Hand and Seal the day and Year first above Written.
