In the Name of God Amen
I John Glanvill of Saint Matthews ffryday street citizen and wax
chandler of London being sick and infirm in body but of sound and
disposing mind and understanding do make and ordain this my last
will and testament in manner and fform following that whereas
in and by my last will and testatment in writing bearing date
or or about the second day of ffebruary last I did among other
things give and bequeath the several legacys herein after
particularly mentioned that is to say to my Brother Daniel Glanvill
fforty pounds Item to my brother Roger Glanvill thirty pounds
Item to my sister Elizabeth Ravele thirty pounds Item to my
cousin John Could ten pounds without interest when he should
become of age Item to my cousin Ralph Roberts ffive pounds
Item to my cousin Ralph Roberts in trust for my sister Joan
Could my ffeild at London called Bare Leged Land to preserve
it for her separate use and *** also by my said Will make my
Wife Margaret Glanvill residuary legatee of my estate and
appoint her sole executrix of my said will and wherea my said
wife Margaret is since deceased and now my mind and will
is and I do hereby order and direct that the said several legacyes
befor mentioned to be by me given and devised to the persons
respectively above named shall be only paid to them respectively
as aforesaid by my executors heeafter named Item I give and
bequeath unto my ffriends *** de Boiville of the parish of St
John at Hackney in the county of Middlesex Esq and William
Smith of Billiter Square London Esq the sum of one pounds one
shilling apeiece for their care and pains in the taking upon them the
execution of this my will and therin I do hereby nominate and
appoint executors of this my last will and testament and I do
hereby impower them to deduct and retain in their hands all their
charges and disbursements which they shall any ways necefsarily
lay out and expend in and about the trust by me reposed in them
from my will and meaning further is that neither of my said
executors shall be charged or chargeable with or for any part
of my estate further or otherwise than only for such part and so
much thereof as shall come to his or their respective hands and
disposal and all the rest and residue of my goods chattles and
personal estate whatsoever after payment of my debts and the
aforesaid legacys and payments which I have hereby ordered and
directed to be paid I do give and devise and bequeath unto my said
executors in trust only neverthelefs for my daughter ffrances
Glanvill and to and form (?) other use Cutent (?) or purpose whatsoever
and I do nominate and appoint my said sister Elizaebth Ravow
to be guardian of my said daughter ffrances during her
minority and lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all
former and other Will and Wills by me heretofore made and do
declare this to be my only last will and testament In witnefs
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh
day of June in the year of our Lord on thousand seven hundred
