In the Name of God Amen
I Daniel Glanville of the parish of St John the Evangelist in the
city of Westminfter Carpenter being weak in body but of sound and
disposing mind and memory do and declar this to be my last
will and teftament in manner following (that is to say) I
recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator
and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion
of my executrix hereinafter named and as touching and concerning
my worldly estate I give leave and dispose thereof as follows / Viz
ffirst I desire my just debts and ffuneral expenses to be paid and
satisfied Item I give leave and bequeath unto my loving wife
Elizabeth Glanville all my estate and effects both real and
personal whether in lands soonfes (?) money or securites for moneys
or any other nature or kind whatsoever or wheresoever the same may be
situate lying and being and whereof I shall dye seized and pofsefsed
to her own use and behoof for ever And further I do hereby
nominate constitute and appoint my said loving wife Elizabeth
full and sole executrix of this my laft will and tesftament
hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills
on bills by me at any time heretofore made and lastly do
declare this to by my last will and teftament In Witnefs whereof
I have here unto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of
september in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and fforty nine Daniel Glanville signed sealed published and
declared by the said testator as his last will and teftament and
witnefsed as such by us at his request and in his prefence Benjamin

This will was proved at London before the Worshipfull
Robert Chapman Doctor of Laws Surrogateto the Right Workshipfull
John Bettesworth also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commifsary
of our prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted on the
twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
hundred and fforty nine by the oat of Elizabeth Glanvill widow
the relict of the said deceased and sole executris named in the said
will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the
goods chattels and credits of the said deceased being first sworn duly
to administer
