Appeared personally John Phillips
of H*heath in the County of Suffolk gentleman and
Ann Button of Irkworth in the said county widow and made
oath that they knew and were well acquainted with Samuel
Glanvill formerly of Gittisham in the County of Devon but later
house steward to the right honourable Earl of Bristol at Irkworth
Park in the County of Suffolk deceased and with his manner and
character of handwriting and subscription having seen him
write and also write and subscrible his name and having now
carefully viewed and perused the paper writing hereunto
annexed purporting to be and contain the last will and
testament of the said deceased the said will beginning thus
"Irworth Park August 15th 1800 this is my will me Saml
Glanville of Gittisham the County of Devonshire" endintg thus
"Signed by me" and thus subscribed "Saml Glanville" the deponents
lastly made oath that they verily and in their conscience believe
the whole body said and contents of the said Will beginning and
ending and subscribed as aforesaid to be all of the proper
handwriting and subscription of the said deceased- Jo Phillips
Ann Button - On the twelfth day of June 1815 the said John
Phillips and Ann Button were duly sworn to the *** of ***
by virtue of the annexed commifsion before me. W Stock ***

On the 17th June 1815 admon *** the will annexed of the goods of Samuel Glanvill formerly of Gittisham in the county of Devon but late house steward to the Right Honble the Earl of Bristol at Irkworth Park in the County of Suffolk deceased was granted to Peter Glanville the natural & lawful brother and as such one of the residuary legacees named in the said Will having been first sworn by Comon (?) duly to adminster no executor
