Peter Glanvill

In the Name of God Amen
I Peter Glanvill of Peahembury in the County of Devon baker do make and ordain this to be
my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say ffirst I give and bequeath
unto my dear wife Christian Glanvill and her afsigns for and duringn the term of her natural life
all that dwelling house and garden with the appurts thereto belonging situate in peahembury
aforesaid now in the occupation of Joseph Lombartoft my tenant and from and after the decease
of my said wife I give and devise the same unto my godson John Glanville of Silferton in the said county
yeoman the son of Peter Glanvill of Peahembury aforesaid yeoman his heirs
and afsigns for ever also I give and bequeath unto my said wifes nephew Thomas Daunt (?)
of Peahembury aforesaid husbandman the sum of five pounds of lawful money currency
Great Britain to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named within one month
next after decease also I give and bequeath unto my said wifes natural son John
Larksford the sum of ten pounds of like lawful money to be paid to him by my executrix
hereinafter named within one month next after my decease also all the rest residue
and remainder of my goods chattels personal and testamentary estate and effects of what
nature or kind soever the same may be not by me hereinbefore given and bequeathed
my debts legacees and funeral expenses bing first paid thereof I give and bequeath unto
my said wife Christian Glanvill the executors admons and afsigns to and for her and their
own use and benefit and I do hereby name nominate consistutue and appoint my said wife
Christian Glanvill sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and lastly I do
hereby revoke and make void all former and other will and wills by me at any time
heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and testament In Witnefs
whereof I have to this my last will and testament contained in two sheets of paper to his
first sheet thereof set my hand to to this last my hand and seal this twelfth day of
August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hunder and fifteeen - Peter Glanvill (LJ)
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Peter Glanvill the testator and for and
to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names
at witnefses thereto in the presence of the said testator and of each other - John Wish

Proved at London 8th ffeb 1828 before the Judge by the oath of Christian Glanvill
