William Glanvill

This is the last will and testmaent of me
William Glanvill of Combeinteinhead in the County of Devon
mariner being in health of body and of sound mind and diposing
mind memory and understanding ffirst I give and bequeath
unto my dear wife Sarah Glanvill the sum of ffity pounds of
lawful British Money to be paid retained and sold out of the
ffunds by her as soon after my decease as she shall think proper
for the purpose of discharging my just debts ffuneral and
testamentary expenses I also give and bequeath unto my said
wife all my household goods and ffurniture of what nature soever
to hold and be pofsefsed and enjoyed by her during her natural life
and from and immediatley after her decease I give and bequeath
the same unto my beloved daughter Anna Maria Glanvill for
her sole use and benefit except the Bed I now lie on which I
give and bequeath after the death of my said wife unto my
daugher Sarah Boyes I also give and bequeath unto my said
wife the interest and dividends of all such sum and sums of
money as I may have in the stocks or ffunds of Great Britain at
the time of my decease after selling out to the amount of fifty
pounds sterling before given to be by her freely received pofsefsed
and enjoyed during her life and from and after the decease
my said wife then I give and bequeath unto my said daughter
Anna Maria Glanvill the sum of two hundred and ten pounds of
lawful British money for her own absolute use and benefit to be retained
and sold out of the ffunds by her as soon after my said wifes decease
as she shall think proper and from and immediately after my
wifes decease I given and bequeath the remainder of the money in the
ffunds after payment of the said sum of two hundred and ten pounds
sterling to my said daughter Ann Maria Glanvill unto my beloved
sons and daughter Samuel Glanvill William Glanvill and the
said Sarah Boyes for their own separate uses & benefits in equal
proportions share and share alike And all the rest and residue of
my money debts money in the house chattels personal estate and
effects whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my said wife Sarah
Glanvill for her own use and benefit whom I hereby nominate
and appoint executrix of this my will I also nominate and
appoint my daughter Anna Maria Glanvill executrix hereof
from and immediately after the decease of my said wife And hereby
revoking all former wills by me at any time hertofore made I do
declare this to my last will In Witnefs whereof I the said William
Glanvill the testator have hereunto set my hands and seal this twenty

Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Glanvill as
and for his last will and testament in the presence of us - Peter Bradudge

Proved at London 31st July 1821 before the Judge by the oath of Sarah
Glanvill widow the relict the sole executrix to whom admon was granted
having been first sworn (by Comon) duly to administer
