In the Name of God Amen
I Benjamin Glanville of the parish of Saint John the Evangelist Westminster carpenter being weak in health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say first and principally I commend my soul to God that gave it and my body I commit to the earth to be buried in such decent manner as my executor hereinafter named shall think fit and as touching such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to blefs me with I give and bequeath the same in manner following that is to say I give and bequeath all my estate whatsoever of what nature or kind soever wheresover the same shall be situate lying or being unto my Aunt Elizabeth Glanville of the parish of Saint John the Evangelist aforesaid widow and my brother Edward Glanville equally to be divided between them share and share alike and I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Edward Glanville sole executor of this my will and hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time hertofore made I do declare this to be my last will and testament In Witnefs whereof I the said Benjamin Glanville have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty eighth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one Benj Glanville signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Benjamin Glanville the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have at his request and in his presence subscribed our names as witnefses thereto Will: Watson . This Will was proved at London on the ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one before the worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful George May Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commifsary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Edward Glanvill the brother of the deceased and sole executor named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer
