George Glanvill

This is the last will and testament
of me George Glanvill of Southdown in that part of the parish of Maker
that lies in the county of Cornwall retired commander in Her Majestys
Royal Navy in the first place I charge all my estate and effects of every description
with the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and
subject thereto I give devise and bequeath the rest residue and remainder of
my money securities for money household goods and furniture and all other my
personal and freehold estate whereof I am seized in for unto my dear wife Sarah
Glanvill for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately
after the death of my said wife then I give devise and bequeath all those two
freehold mefsuages or dwelling houses hereditaments and premises situate and being
Nos. 5 and 6 in Summerland Terrace in the Borough of Plymouth in the
County of Devon together with all the rest residue and remainder of my personal
estate and effects of what nature or kind soever whereunto I am intitled
at law or in equity or whereof I have any power to dispose and all my esate
and interest therein unto my grandson George Glanvill to hold the same unto
the said George Glanvill his heirs executors administrators and afsigns respectively
to and for his and their own use and benefit absolutely and I do hereby
nominate constitute and appoint my said dear wife Sarah Glanvill sole executrix
of this my will hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore
made In witness whereof I the said Geoge Glanvill have hereunto set my
hands this tenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and fifty two - Geo: Glanvill - Signed by the said testator George
Glanville as and for this last will and testament in the presence of us who at his
request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed
our names as witnesses thereto - Francis Hoof Convey Stonehouse Devon

Proved at London 26th of March 1857 before the Judge by the oath of
Sarah Glanvill widow the relict the sole executrix to whom admon was
granted having been first sworn by Comon only to administer

legatee substituted in the said
will - he having been first
sworn duly to administer
