The five and twentieth daie of August Ano
Dm one thousand six hundred ffiftie and eight.
In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth
Glanvill of Launceston in the counntie of Cornwall widow being sick
of bodie but sound and perfect of memory thanks be given to Almighty
God declare and make voyd all former will and doe make and ordaine
this my last will and testatament in manner and forme following: ffirst I
soe commit my Soule unto Allmighty God my Saviour and Redeemer
And by body to christian buriall
Item I bequeath to my son Arthur seventy six pounds thirteen shillings and fourpence
Item I give to my son Oliver seventy six pounds thirteen shillings and fourpence
Item I give to my daughter Anna Glanvill ten pounds
Item I give to my daughter Sara Glanvill in lieu of her fathers portion of twenty marks and of ber brother Christophers
legacy of seven pounds the dwelling house and *** and garden
and timber the *** with the *** which my son Christopher gave
to me by his last will and settlement to my daughter Sarah and her heirs forever
Item I give to my daughter Alice Jenkin twenty shillings
Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Roberts twenty shillings
Item I give to my daughter Catherins Whichals twenty shillings
Item I give to my grandchild Christopher Marks five pounds No *** that
*** *** legacies aforesaid given to be paid within two yeares *** after
my decease
All the rest of my goods and estates I doe hereby give
to my son ffrancis Glanvill whom I appoint and ordayne to be my
whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament
Also I doe desire and appoint Robert Jenkin of lanceston my son in law and
Thomas ffary Snr of St Thomas parish by Lamerton in Devon
*** of dozmeall (?) to be *** of this my last will and testatment
and to be ayding and assisting to my executor to see this my will performed
Item I give to the Sir Thomas ffary and Robert Jenkins
thirty shillings to each to buy a ring to wear fo rmy sake In
witnes whereof I have hertunto set my hand and seal & published
the same the daie and yeare first above sowritte August ye twentie fifth

This will was proved at London the twentieth
day of Novermber one thousand six hundred ffiftie and eight before the
judges for probate of wills and granting administrations lawfully authorised
by the oath of ffrancis Glanvill the sonne sole executor named in the said will
to whom was commited administratoin of all and singular ye goods chattels
and debts of the said deceased he being by commission first sworn duly
to adminster the same
