Susanna Glanvil

In the Name of God Amen
I Susanna Glanvil of the parish of St Pauls Shadwell in
the County of Middlesex widow being in good health and
of sound memory and understanding do make this my
last will and testament as followeth Imprimis I desire and
direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall
be first paid and discharged and as touching my personal
estate and effects from and after my said debts and funeral
expenses paid I give and dispose of the same as hereafter
is mentioned and first I give an bequeath my
daughter Mary Hinchman who is now the wife of john
Hinchman the sum of five pounds Item I give and bequeath
unto my daughter in law Eleanor Glanvill who is the widow
and relict of my late son Samuel Glanvill deceased the sum
of five pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter
Susanna Massey who is now the wife of Anthony Massey the
sum of five pounds upon condition nevertheless and not
otherwise that my said daughters Mary Hinchman Eleanor
Glanville and Susanna Massey do and shall respectively within
the time and space of six months next following my decease
make execute and deliver or transfer or promise to be made
executed and delivered unto or for the use of my executor
hereinafter named a good and sufficient general release and
discharge in the Law of and concerning all and every debt duty
sum and sums of money whatsoever which they my said
daughters Mary Hinchman Eleanor Glanvill and Susan
Massey or any of them might or could have or pretend to
have claim challenge or demand of or from me or my estate
for touching or concerning any matter *** or thing
whatsoever or by any ways or means howsoever Item I give
and devise all and every the rest residue and remainder of
all and every my goods chattels and personal estate unto my
son Richard Glanvill to hold unto him and his assigns for ever
And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son Richard
Glanville sole executor of this my will and so hereto annull
and make void all other will and wills by me at any time or
times heretofore made or executed and I do publish and declare
this to be my only last will and testament In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of
August Anno Domini 1730 Susanna Glanvill signed sealed
published and declared by the testatrix in the presence of us
who in her presence and at her request have subscribed our
names as witnesses hereunto Ralph Dixon Henry Rorvning
This will was proved at London the fifth day of
March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
thirty nine before the Worshipful Charles Pinfold Doctor of
Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful John Bettesworth
also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of one
prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the
oath of Richard Glanvill the son of the said deceased after sole
executor named in the said will to whom administration
was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits
of the said deceased being first sworn duly to administer
