Eleanor Glanvile

This is the last Will and testatemnt of me Eleanor
Glanvile of Leeds in the county of York singlewoman whereby I give and
bequeath all my monies securities for money personal estate state and
effects whatsoever whereof I may be possessed or to which I may be entitled at
the time of my decease unto my brother George Glanvile of Leeds aforesaid linen
draper upon trust and confident that he will lay out and apply the same and
the interest and proceeds thereof from time to time in the maintenance education
support and preferment in the world of his thee children Sarah Glanvile
Maria Glanvile and John Glanvile in equal shares at such time and
in such manner as he my said brother George Glanville shall in his discretion
think fit and in case of the death of any of the said children then for the use
and benefit of the survivors and survivor or them and in case of the death of all
the said children before the said monies estate and effects shall be so applied and
expended then I give the same and the unapplied residue thereof unto and for the
absolute use and benefit of the said George Glanvile his executors admons and assigns
and I do hereby give and devise unto the said George Glanvile his heirs executors
admons and assigns all estates vested in my on mortgage upon trust to get in and
receive the principal monies and interest which at the time of my decease may be
due and owing to me thereon and on payment thereof to release assign and otherhowe
assure the estates so mortgaged to the several persons who for the time being
may be entitled to the equity of redemption thereof and I hereby appoint the said
George Glanvile sole executor of this my will hereby revoking all former wills
by me at any time heretofore made I so declare this to be my last will and testament
In witness whereof I the said testator have to this my last will and testament
contained in this sheet of paper set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of august in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six Eleanor Glanvile LJ
Signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix as and for the last will &
testament in the presence of us who in the presence at her request and in the presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses William Wood -
Eliza Hood - Maria Wookey
Proved at London the 29th Sept 1837 before the Judge by the oath of
George Glanvile the brother and sole exor to whom admon was granted having
been first sworn by comon duly to administer
