His loving wife of 61 years by his side and surrounded by his family, Doug passed peacefully. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. After a long career working with electronics he and his wife Dianne retired to a life of travel in their motor home. Many adventures were had as they crisscrossed the country in their mobile cabin. When not on a traveling adventure Doug spent his time exercising at the gym and puttering on a 1001 projects in his work shop.
Doug is preceded in death by his brother Hal Glanville, father Mode Rupert Glanville, mother Florence Agnes Smith Glanville, and sisters Ruth Homer and Naomi Wilmeth. He is survived by his wife Dianne Bailey Glanville, sons Dean (Sharon), Jeff (Barbara), grandchildren Megan, Kevin, Andrew, great grandchild Audrey, and brother Gerald Glanville.
A private family service has been held and in keeping with Doug's wishes his body has been donated to science. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to homeless children or the charity of your choice.
