      On 1 February 1867 The London Gazette carried the following notice:
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned, George Glanvill and John Neale Stillwell, in the trade or business of Wholesale Trimming Manufacturers, at No. 3, Saint Ann's-lane, General Post Office, in the city of London, under the style or firm of Glanvill and Stillwell, was this day dissolved by mutual consent; and in future the business will be carried on by the said George Glanvill on his separate account, who will pay and receive all debts owing from and to the said partnership in the regular course of trade.—Witness our hands this 24th day of January, 1867.

      On 1 February 1877 The Times p7 reported a fire in the manufactory of Messrs Tull, Glanvill, and Co., kamptulicon floor cloth manufacturers, John Street, Roupell Street, Lambeth. The building was described as two floors of 30ft long by 40ft broad and was completely burnt out. Their warehouse and a large stock were reported uninjured.
      On 18 December 1877 The London Gazette named Tull, Glanvill, and Co. of Roupell Street, Lambeth as exhibiting Floor Cloth at the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1878.
      On 8 March 1884 The Times p12 reported a Destructive Fire at the Crown Works, Roupell Street, Southwark, the property of Messrs George Glanville and Co. linoleum floorcloth manufacturers. The staff were working through the night; the fire started in the engine room, spread throughout the factory but not beyond.
     George was married 2 (or none) times.
      On 13 December 1888 The Times reported p10 a fire at 13 Upper Bland Street, Great Dover Street, upon the premises of Messrs Glanvill and Co., linoleum manufacturers. The 70 ft by 25ft printing room was gutted.      George and Florence Richmond had no children by the 1911 census.

She graduated from Ogden High School, Weber State College & The University of Utah. She married Sheryl Benson on June 9, 1961 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They were later divorced.
She worked at Unisys as a Certified Professional Secretary until she retired. She cherished many friendships in the Salt Lake City area where she lived many years. She worked as a volunteer with WSU Alumni Association, the Weber-Morgan Volunteer Services Advisory Council, RSVP & the Weber-Morgan Council of Aging.
She was a faithful member of the LDS church serving as YW’s President & in the Relief Society Presidency.
Survived by sister-in-law, Faye Glanville, many nieces, nephews & close friends.
Preceded in death by her parents & siblings: Blaine L. Glanville, Claude Glanville, and sister Billie Daz.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 26th 2012 at 11 am at the Washington Terrace 13th Ward LDS Chapel, 4800 South 300 West, Washington Terrace, UT 84405.

Theodore (Ted) Dale Glanville, 84, of Fresno, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 63 years, Wanda. He is also survived by his daughters and son and their spouses; Cynthia and David Suek, Robin and John Miller and Michael Glanville and Sarah O'Dwyer, as well as six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ted was born in Spring Canyon, Utah to Lillian and William Glanville. Ted had five siblings that preceded him in death and is survived by four sisters, Hannah Kelly, April Schmidt, JoAnn Green and Inez Heinicke.
Ted served in the Navy during WWII and worked at the Pacific Bell Telephone Company for 42 years before retiring and devoting his time to So-Val Tel Federal Credit Union, serving as President. He loved spending sunny days at Fig Garden Golf Course and spending time with his many family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Avenue in Fresno on Saturday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

John J. Glanville Professor emeritus, San Francisco State University, died on November 20th at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Carol, son James, daughters Julia and Sarah, son-in-law Kai Lundgren-Williams, grandson Ilari, and sister-in-law Alice Broquist. A specialist in ancient and medieval philosophy, John taught for 60 years, 41 of them at SFSU. Born in the Buffalo, N.Y. area in 1921, he was a graduate of St. John's College, Minn. He received his Ph.D from Notre Dame and did post-doctoral studies in Toronto and Switzerland. Several generations of students will remember his exacting standards and the care with which he encouraged their work. Many of them went on to become professors themselves. John was an ardent union member and was an active participant in the 1968 strike at SFSU and at St. John's University, N.Y. in 1966. A memorial mass will be held at the old Mission Dolores on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:00am. A reception follows in the church hall.
