      The Records of the Anglo Norman House of Glanville (wrongly) attributes this John to be the son of Nicholas and Elizabeth nee Kedley.
      On 23 March 1611 Manor of Withiel purchased by Sir Francis Glanvill, son of Alice Skerrett (sold 9 Oct 1634.)
     Rev John Glanville was educated Exeter College, King Charles being the Guardian of John in his Minority when entering the College to become a Minister. The alumni of Exeter college records John's father as Nicholas. In 1614 Francis Glanvill (Sir Francis son of Alice nee Skerrit) becomes his Patron.
     Rev John Glanville left a will although originals lost in bombing of Exeter 1939-45, online version viewable. John of Withiel.
