     He married Catherine Moody Runciman on 6 December 1820 in St Marylebone parish church, Marylebone, MDX, ENG, (when age calculated as 21) by licence. Bachelor and Spinster. Both of this parish. Witnesses: Charles Runciman, Jane Runciman, Richard Hardinge Stewart.

Other Information


      Thomas William Glanville was educated at Rugby under Mr Arnold. Later he was placed by his guardians to study farming under Mr William Runciman of Birchmore?. (believed to be Doxford) Bedfordshire, whose daughter Katherine Moody he married in 1821. They resided in Westminster for over a year after the marriage , when the estate of Pickford lodge Ticehurst was purchased. There for ten or twelve years when he returned to London to study medicine at the Middlesex Hospital, during which time they resided in Oxford Terrace W.
Subsequently Dr Glanville practised in Sutton Courtney Berks. & later in Windsor. Returning to London in 1852 to take up work there, but his wife dying the same year, he went to Melbourne Australia taking with him his two younger sons Reginald & Cosmo where he died early in 1859 (11 Nov 1835 p4. a Mr Thomas William Glanville, house surgeon at Middlesex Hospital made a deposition in a trial.)
Dr Glanville was reputed by those who knew to be a very clever Surgeon.
     Dr Thomas William Glanville immigrated after 1851 to AUS.
      On 17 August 1869 The London Gazette listed Summary of Apportionment of the Rent Charges in lieu of Tithes in the parish of Ticehurst, Sussex.

Harold LeRoy Glanville, 82, passed away January 2, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born on December 1, 1937, at Scott City John Kinney & Edith (Woods) Glanville. He married Viola Perez on June 7, 1964, at Leoti. She survives.

Coming from Hoisington in 2004, Harold was a Great Bend resident. He was a sales associate for Water’s True Value and delivered tires for Becker Tire. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved watching K-State, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, but especially loved watching and supporting his grandchildren's sporting events.

Survivors include, his wife, Viola of the home; three daughters, Starla Bieberle and husband Glen of Redwing, Debbie Hosman and husband Joel of Holyrood, and Daphne Beck and husband Randy of Great Bend; one sister, Lois Smades of Larned; nine grandchildren, Trevor Bieberle, Ryan Bieberle (Kelsey Larocco), Zachary White (Jordan Warford), Nicole White, Nathan White (Jaclyn), Isaac White (Brogan), Bryce Beck, Baylee Beck, and Bradley Beck; and four great grandchildren, Landon White, Ryder White, Brooklyn White, and Koby White. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eldon Glanville and Carroll Glanville.

Cremation has taken place and family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2019. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Swain presiding. A Private Family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Kans for Kids or ElderCare, Inc., in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
