Irene Linda Glanville, 67, passed away of a heart attack on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her home in Toronto. Daughter of Bill Lenhardt and Florence Kelly, sibling to Paul and Patricia (deceased) and Mary, Michael and Theresa and mother to Chris (Holly) and Johnny. Irene called Toronto home living most of her life in the Yonge and Eglinton area. She was a devout Catholic who loved to sing and participated in several church choirs. She loved art and creative expression in all its forms. She was a volunteer with ART HEART and LUMINATO as well as helping out with Provincial and Federal Elections. She also served as a clean air advisor with CAMH. She played guitar and celebrated nature in all its forms, she was a true believer in miracles and inspired many others to hold those same beliefs. She cherished her grandchildren Kailer, Kohl and Lotus. She will never be forgotten. Visitation to be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., on Wednesday, February 20th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 131 McCaul St., on Thursday, February 21st at 10 a.m. Private interment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations to ArtHeart Community Art Centre would be appreciated (www. artheart.ca).

     Lorraine M. Coughlin was born on 19 January 1924 at Springfield, MA, USA.
     She married Frederick Howard Glanville Jnr, son of Frederick Howard Glanville Snr and Effie Holgate, in 1951 at the USA (when age calculated as 26 years.)
     She died on 3 March 2004 at Punta Gorda, FL, USA, (when age calculated as 80); with obituary:

EGREMONT -- Lorraine M. Glanville, 80, of McGee Road, North Egremont, and Punta Gorda, Fla., died March 3 at her Florida home.

Born in Springfield on Jan. 18, 1924, daughter of James M. and Victoria Breault Coughlin, she was a 1942 graduate of Commerce High School. She had resided in Egremont since 1956 and spent winters in Punta Gorda.

While in Springfield, she was a renowned mezzo-contralto and a cappella soloist, appearing in concerts throughout the Springfield and Athol areas and on radio station WBZA-FM.

Mrs. Glanville had worked at the former New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. and Van Norman Machine Tool Co. before her marriage.

She was a communicant of St. James' Episcopal Church in Great Barrington, and a former member of its choir. She was a former member of the National Federation of Women's Clubs, and an active member and historian of the Egremont Garden Club. In Florida, she was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she entered the lifelong Order of the Daughters of the King. She also studied and displayed her paintings in county art shows and local businesses in Florida.

Her husband, Frederick H. Glanville Jr., whom she married in 1951, died July 26, 1989.

She leaves a son, Frederick H. Glanville III of West Springfield; a daughter, Valerie J. Winig of Great Barrington, and three grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Lorraine M. Glanville of Egremont and Florida, who died March 3, 2004, will be conducted Friday, March 12, at 11 at St. James' Episcopal Church, Great Barrington, by the Rev. Catherine Woods Richardson, rector. There will be no calling hours. She also is survived by her granddaughter, Megan Alyssa Glanville, and grandsons Andrew Frederick and Christopher Dean Winig.
