The Canadian death record of his daughter Florence indicates a Cornish birth which is more probable for a Wesleyan Methodist and Bible Christian (according to later census records.)He married Sarah B. Martin before 1857 at CON, ENG, but no registration can be found in England/Wales to support an English marriage.
He died on 13 March 1920 at Exeter, Huron Co., ONT, CAN, (when age calculated as 88.)
He was buried at Exeter Cemetery, Huron Co., ONT, CAN, with Monumental Inscription:
