     He married Margaret Glanville on 30 December 1795 at the Parish Church, Whitchurch, DEV, ENG, James Maker of this parish and Margarte Glanville of this parish were married in this church by banns by Chas Spry curate. Both James and Margaret made their Mark. In the presence of Ricd Dobson, Nicholas Symons. Marriage banns for James Maker and Margaret Glanville were published on 31 May 1795 at the Parish Church, Whitchurch, DEV, ENG, Banns of marriage between James Maker of this parish and Margaret Glanville of this parish. Dated 31 May, 7 and 14 June.
