Will, with codicil proved at London on 11 October by John Toner of 111 Inverness Terrace, Bayswater, Middlesex, architect, and Daniel Holloway of 30 High Street, Hampstead, Middlesex, corn merchant two of the surviving executors, under £25,000.

On 18 October 1878 the following notice appeared in The London Gazette:ALFRED CHARLES GLANVILL, Esq., Deceased.
Pursuant to the Act of Parliament 22nd and 23rd .Vic., c 35, intituled " An Act to further amend the Law of Property, and to relieve Trustees."
N OTICE is hereby given, that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands upon or against the estate of Alfred Charles Glanvill, late of 44, Wiltshire-road, Angell Town, Brixton, in the county of Surrey, Gentleman, deceased (who died on the 6th day of August, 1878, and whose will was proved in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice, on the 11th day of October, 1878, by John Toner, and Daniel Holloway, two of the surviving executors therein named), are hereby required to send, in Writing, the particulars of their claims or demands to the said executors, at the office of the undersigned, the Solicitor for the said executors, on or before the 2nd day of December, 1878, and notice: is hereby also given, that at the expiration of the last-mentioned day the said executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said Alfred Charles Glanvill among the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and demands of which the said executors shall then have had notice, and that they will not be liable for the assets, or any part thereof, so distributed to any person of whose claim or demand they shall not have had notice at the time of such distribution.—Dated this 14th day of October, 1878.
