     He married Joanna Teresa McCarthy in March 1862 at Stockton on Tees, DUR, ENG, (when age calculated as 34 years and 8 months) both parties marrying using only their first christian name. Following banns read Feb 16 & 23, March 2nd at Middlesborough naming both of this parish.
     He died on 9 July 1866 at Runswick, YKS, ENG, (when age calculated as 39); registered Whitby, recorded age 39.
     His estate was probated on 31 August 1866 indexed as:
1866 GLANVILLE Robert Samuel, late of Runswick, North Riding of the County of York, commissioned boatman in Her Majesty's Coastguard who died on 9 July 1866 at Runswick. Administration granted at York on 31 August to Joanna Teresa Glanville of Coatham in the North Riding, widow, the relict, under £100.
