At St. Phillip's. Church, Church Hill, on September 21st, the marriage was celebrated of Miss Nora Cowdroy, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Cowdroy, Bega, to Mr. Albert Edward Glanville, only son of Mr. H. Glanville. Nowra. Rev. W. A. Wilson officiated.
The bride was given away by her father, and wore a frock of ivory georgette, with a front panel of guipure lace trimmed with tiny white satin bows interspersed with pink and blue rose-buds, which appeared on the uneven hem. The embroidered tulle veil, which formed the train, was held in place with a bandeau of silver and diamante; caught at the sides with forget-me-nots. The bouquet was of pale pink carnations, small pink, roses, and forget-me-nots.
Miss Kyla Cowdroy was brides maid, and wore a frock of lavender taffeta and silver- lace, made, with a tight bodice and full skirt, and a silver lace Dutch bonnet. Her bouquet was of mauve stocks and red roses. Mr. P. Wheaton was best man. Mrs. Cowdroy, wearing a gown of navy and patterned, henna georgette, received the guests at a reception at Dungown, Martin Place, after the ceremony. The bride wore a frock of navy crepe de chine, with a kilted black silk coat, and a cyclamen hat when leaving for the honeymoon, which is being' spent on the South Coast, Melbourne, and Tasmania.
