Funeral of Mrs. H. Glanvill at Crediton
The funeral took place last week at the Crediton Cemetery of Mrs. Mary Glanvill aged 65 years, wife of Mr. Henry Glanville of Lynwood Terrace, High-street, Crediton, who passed away at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. She was well-known and held in much respect. She had resided in Crediton, her native town, all her life. She leaves a husband and a daughter, to whom deep sympathy is extended. A few years ago the late Mrs. Glanvill and Mr. Glanvill. sustained the sad loss of their eldest daughter, Miss Ethel Glanvill, through death. During the time of the funeral the blinds of the business and private houses of the town were drawn as a token of respect and sympathy.
The service was conducted by the Rev. J. A. Durling (Vicar of Crediton). The ?rst portion was held at the Crediton Parish Church and the committal at the Crediton Cemetery, Deceased was laid to rest in the family grave.

The following represented the Crediton Branch of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows (of which the deceased's husband has been the Secretary for twenty-nine years), Messr. R.H. Stacey, E. Tucker, H.
