     Thomas Owens was born between 1850 and 1851 at Aberystwyth, CGN, WLS.
     He married Fanny Glanville, daughter of Richard Glanville and Eliza Johns, on 4 August 1880 at Wesley Chapel, Queen's road, Aberystwyth, CGN, WLS, reported in The Aberystwith Observer 7 Aug 1880:
OWENS - GLANVILLE - August 4th, at Wesley Chape, Queen's-road, in the presence of Mr D.H. Evans, Registrar, by the Rev. J.S.Vickers, assisted by the Rev. T.Levi, Thomas Owens, Commercial and Grammar School, to Fanny Glanville, youngest daughter of Captain Glanville, late of Frongoch, near Pontrhydygroes.
     He died in June 1903; with lengthy obituary in Welsh Gazette and West Wales Advertiser 18 Jun 1903, reported to be in his 53rd year, leaving widow and 2 sons.
