     John Glanville was born between 1767 and 1768.
     He married Elizabeth Brown on 7 August 1800 at St George's parish church, St George Hanover Square, MDX, ENG, by licence. John named "John Glanvill of the parish of Stanmore Br." Br denoting Bachelor Both signed the register..

     He died in November 1822; notice in Morning Advertiser 21 March 1823 ref Mr John Glanvill, late of Great Stanmore shopkeeper deceased, naming Mr Tootell settling credits and debts
The Morning Advertiser of 1 Feb 1823 had listed the auction on Feb 5 of all his items, "all the valuable Stock in Trade of Linen drapery, Hosiery, Haberdashery &c of the late Mr Glanvill, deceased, Draper and General Shopkeeper at Stanmore", and on Monday 10 Feb of his household furniture and other effects. The report noted the House and Shop to be let, established near 70 years.
     His estate was probated on 23 December 1822 Proved at London 23 December 1822 before the worshipful
Jefse Addams Dr of Laws surrts by the Oath of Elizabeth Glanvill
widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom admon was granted
being first sworn duly to admin.
     He was buried on 11 November 1822 at Great Stanmore, MDX, ENG, recorded age 54.

     John Glanville left a will on 22 June 1820 In the Name of God Amen
I John Glanvill of the parish of Great Stanmore in the County of
Middlesex Shopkeeper do make publish and declare this my last
Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give
devise and bequeath all that my Copyhold or Wastehold piece or
parcel of land on Stanmore March within the Manor and parive
of Greatn Stanmore in the County of Middlesex with the appurtenances
to my dear wife Elizabeth Glanvill her heirs and afsigns for ever
all my ready money securities for money stock in trade household
goods and ffurniture plate linen china and other my personal estate
and effects whatsoever and wheresover after payment of my just debts
funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath the same and
every part thereof unto my said wife Elizabeth Glanvill to and for
her own use and benefit and I do hereby nominate and appoint my
said wife Elizabeth Glanville sole Executrix of this my last Will
and Testament In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal with twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and twenty - John Glanvill (Lij) Signed
sealed published and declared by the said John Glanvill as and for
his last Will and Testament in the pressence fo each other have subscribed
our names and witnefses thereto Ann Shackle - Mary Owen
