Birth, Marriage and Death information

     She married Lloyd Wilfred Glanville, son of Henry Glanville and Emily Rose Hall, after 1940 at CAN.
     She died after 2006 at CAN; a biography said:
Ruth (Glanville) McPhee, was a widow when she entered the United Church Training School in 1952. She had an MA from McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario and a teaching certificate, and had taught high school in Collingwood, Ontario.
Upon her graduation from UCTS she was appointed to Robertson Memorial United Church in Edmonton in 1954. She was disjoined in 1957 when she married Mr. Brundage.
In 1978 Ruth was reinstated as a Deaconess. By this time she had married Frank McPhee, an ordained minister. Together they ministered to the First Nation community at Morley, Alberta until Frank’s retirement in 1985, although Ruth was not on the payroll. Ruth has experienced a lot of loss in her life. She was married and widowed three times, her first husband died during World War 2. He was 19. Frank died in 2007. He had not been well for a long time and was in a nursing home across the street from the senior’s complex where she still lives. She visited him every day and cared for him until his death, even though she was beginning to experience memory loss.
Ruth was renowned for being wildly creative; with art, music and drama. She worked with youth and children and was well loved by many.
