Charles Glanville was born between 1873 and 1874.
He died circa August 1879 at West Derby registered, LAN, ENG; recorded age 5. Reported in The Times of 10 Sep 1879 p11 as "An inquest was held yesterday before the Liverpool Coroner on the body of a boy, 5yrs old, named Charles Glanvill, who died under peculiar circumstances. His mother left him in bed, apparently asleep, on Sunday morning, but in a little while he was found breathing heavily and one of his arms moving convulsively. She could not wake him and called in a doctor, but the child died the same evening. A post mortem showed death resulted from a vegetable poison. Two companions of the deceased said that he drank some water out of a pit from an empty lobster can he found in a field, and another said he and the deceased had eaten some green grass. An open verdict was returned."
