Henrie Glandffell of Sturminster Marshall in county of Dorset husbandman being sick
in my body but thanks be unto almightly god being in perfect mind and memory do
make this my last will and testament in manner and form following First I bequeath
my soul unto the hands of almighty god my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried
in the churchard of Sturminster Marshall aforesaid First I give unto the church aforesaid
eighteen pence I give unto my brother Leonard Glandfyll twenty shillings a year to
be paid unto him gracefully by my executor as long as the said Leonard Glandfell shall
live Aesor I give unto Thomas Glandfill and William Glandfill and John Glandfill
the sons of my son Thomas Glandfell five pounds apiece such shall remain the hands
of my trustees to be employed towards the safe of the said first said Thomas and William and John
Glandfill until they be of the years of one and twenty apeice And if either of them shall
die before the come to the years aforesaid I will that the said sums of money shall remain
to the other that are living of the said Thomas William or John Glandfell Aesor I give unto
my son Thomas my valence lynded conse and a long table booder in the hall Aesor
I give unto my brother Andrew Glandfell forty shillings Aesor I give unto my brother Andrews
three daughters twenty shillings apiece All the rest of my goods moveable & immoveable I
give unto my daughter Jeane whom I do make my lawful executor I will that my daughter
Jeane shall have the full time of one whole year after my deceased for the payment of
the said legacies Aesor I do constitute ordain and appoint my trusty and wellbeloved
friends John Wine and William Soine as my overseers to this my last will & testament
performed And to each of them I give for his pains five shillings apeice And in witness
hereof to this my last will and testament I have hereunto set my hand hand in the presence
