He married Florence Adeline Hounsome on 30 August 1891 at St John's Parish Church, Portsea, HAM, ENG, (when age calculated as 25 years, 7 months and 22 days) his age recorded 25, hers 23. Fathers named Richard Glanville (Engineer fitter) and James Hounsome (Commercial Traveller). Witnesses James Hounsome and Augusta Hounsome. Marriage by licence. Registered Portsea Isle.
He died circa February 1938 at Portsmouth registered, HAM, ENG; recorded age 72.
