     Rev Thomas Glanville was born before 1595 at ENG.
     He married Grace Danyell on 4 May 1663 at Totnes, DEV, ENG.
     He died on 10 August 1673 at Tavistock, DEV, ENG.
     He was buried on 12 August 1673 at Tavistock, DEV, ENG, Mr Thomas Glanvill viccar of this paririfh died the 10th of August and was buried the 12 of the same.

Other information

     It would appear highly unlikely that a Thomas son of John would marry in 1663 and have subsequent children.
Other sources report him marrying a Joanna Calmady in 1624 and Thomas dying 1641 to be buried at St Eustachius Tavistock and Joanna dying to be buried St Andrew's Tavistock in 1664 with a son John buried St Peters, Peter Tavy, Devon in 1694.
It seems more probable that Thomas the son of Sir John Glanville and Alice Skerrett was NOT a vicar of Tavistock but was the man who married Johanna Calamdye circa 1624 and the father of the Rev Thomas vicar of Tavistock who married Grace Danyell in 1663.

     The Calendar of the Tavistock Parish records RN Worth 1887 lists:
[1665] Memorandum of award in a difference between
the parish of Tavystocke and Arthur Cunningham, gent.,
touching a certain rent of 8s. issuing out of a house of the
said Arthur, in the occupation of one Jonas Webb, als
Kitching, payable to the churchwardens of Tavystocke ;
also a rent of 1s. 4d. out of another house of Cunningham's
inheritance, now or lately in the possession of William
Rowe, ' upon ye Cawse in the West Street/ likewise pay-
able to wardens. Whereas Ben Speckman and David Sar-
gant, gent..wardens for the present year, did distrain the
goods of the occupiers ; and whereas Thomas Glanvill,
vicar of Tavystock, and Thomas Preston, rector of Mary-
tavy, were ' arbitrators and wardsmen,' they award : — (A)
Cunningham to pay all arrears to Speckman and Sargent.
(B) Speckman and Sargent to repay Cunningham all the
said money towards his charges and expenses, except 30s.,
to remain to the use of the parish. (C) Cunningham and
his heirs to pay the 8s. and 1s. 4d. regularly. Signed by
Thomas Glanvill and Thomas Preston, October 30th, 17th
Charles II., 1665. Accepted by the parties as testified by
the signatures of fifrancis Toller, William Hore, John Cun-
ningham, and John Toller.
     In 1670 the Calendar of the Tavistock Parish Records list a collection made for captives in Turkey, including Thomas Glanvill vicar of Tavistock and Grace his wife 2s 6d.
