     He married Alice Glanville, daughter of Sir Francis Glanville and Elizabeth Crymes, after 1640 this being Edmund's second marriage, and his first wife died in 1640. In the 1658 Will of Francis Glanville of Kilworthy, his sister Alice is named wife of Edmund Fowell.
