     He was baptized on 28 May 1799 at St Mary's Parish Church, Wedmore, SOM, ENG, George son of John and Jane Glanvile.
     He married Mary Ann Platt on 2 October 1820 at St Alkmunds, Shrewsbury, SAL, ENG, George Glanvile of this parish and Mary Ann Platt of this parish were married by licence.
     He married Elizabeth Jones on 9 March 1828 at St Peter, Chester, CHS, ENG, reported in Chester Courant 11 Mar 1828:
On the 9th instant, at St. Peter's Church, by the Rev. John Halton, Mr George Glanvile, to Miss Elizabeth Jones, eldest daughter of Mrs Matthews, both of Bridge Street Row, in this city.
     He married Ann Higginson on 11 July 1843 at St Bridget's parish church, Chester, CHS, ENG, by licence. He widower of full age, her spinster of full age. Fathers named John Glanville surgeon, Samuel Higginson farmer.
Registered Great Boughton.
     He died on 8 April 1866 at Christleton, CHS, ENG; recorded age 66.
     His estate was probated on 9 October 1866 indexed as:
1866 GLANVILE George late of Christleton, County of Chester, gentleman, who died on 8 April 1866 at Christleton. Will proved at Chester on 9 October by Ann Glanvile of Christleton, widow, the relict, the executrix for life, under £600.
     He was buried on 13 April 1866 at Christleton, CHS, ENG, recorded age 66.
     His estate was probated on 29 April 1874 indexed as:
1874 GLANVILLE George late of Christleton, County of Chester, gentleman who died on 8 April at Christleton. Will proved at Chester on 29 April by John Ralph Bolland of Chester, confectioner one of the executors substituted. The probate granted at Chester in October 1866 having ceased and expired, under £600.
