     George Wookey was born before 1797.
     He married Maria Clapp Glanville, daughter of John Glanville and Jane Clapp, on 31 March 1817 at St Mary's Parish Church, Wedmore, SOM, ENG, George Wookey of West Harptree and Maria Glanvile otherwise Clap, both of this parish, by licence (Wedmore record). Witnesses Jn Hawkins, Forest Glanvile.
