     She died on 21 September 2023 at St Marys Memorial Hospital, St Marys, ONT, CAN, (when age calculated as 80); with obituary:
Dorothy Evelyn McCurdy (Glanville), born in Usborne Twp on August 23, 1943, daughter of Charles and Greta, passed away in her sleep, with family by her side, at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Sept 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Ross “Gus” (2002). Mother of Terry, Barry (deceased, 2019), Dianne Siertsema (Ken), and Randy (Sandra). Grandmother of Nicole, Hanna, Jessica, Kasey, Amber, Jackson, Mya, and Olivia. Great-grandmother of Hailie Mills. Sister of Gerald, Murray (deceased), Graham (deceased), Ray (Sue), Lynda Hartman (deceased). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Over the years, Dorothy was a volunteer with the Kirkton Fair, Farm Safety, Member of the Woodham United Church and UCW, and worked many years at Staffen’s Grocery Store in St. Marys, retiring from the St. Marys Independent.

Cremation to take place. A graveside service will be conducted at the Kirkton Union Cemetery, 70411 Union Line, Kirkton, on October 3, 2023 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Marys and area Salvation Army and Food Bank.
