Barbara Anne Glanville Schultz, age 81, died April 12, 2013 in Plattsburg, Missouri. She died as she lived strong in her faith and in family. Anne, as she was known to friends and family, was the oldest daughter of Richard and Barbara Kennedy Glanville, a well known name in the Kansas City, Kansas furniture business. Her grandfather, Harvey Kennedy, was a beloved family physician in Ottawa, Kansas for many years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude fron Wayland Academy in Beaverton, WI and Kansas State University in Manhattan, Ks and later from Assumption College in Worcester, MA where she received a Masters plus graduate certificate in Rehabiliation Counseing. Education was greatly valued in her family and all four of her daughters graduated from college with two receiving Masters degrees as well. She was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega as her mother also had been and formed many lifelong friends there. She married Herbert M. Schultz of Holton, KS, who was also a student at Kansas State University after serving in the Navy during the Korean War period. Herb was a business student in accounting, after which he worked for Ford Motor Company, Microbit Corporation and Control Data. Anne and Herb were the parents of four daughters: Elizabeth (Bob) Carey, Barbara Schultz (Greg Gisselquist). Susan (Tom) Mann, and Sarah Rasmussen, and later six grandsons and one granddaughter: Sean and Michael Carey of Massachusetts, Alex and Nicholas Rasmussen, and Richard, Barbara Joan and Max Mann of Plattsburg, MO. Anne was predeceased by her parents Barbara and Richard Glanville and by her sister Jane Glanville and many cousins with whom she maintained contact through the years. Services will be held at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 North 18th Street, Kansas City, Kansas on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 1:30PM. She will be cremated with her ashes to be interned by her parents in Highland Park Cemetery also in Kansas City, Kansas. Arrangements Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service, Plattsburg, Mo.
