COOPER.—In Dallas for the funeral Friday of Dr. James Linus Glanville, cousin of Mrs. L. F. Hooten and John Good, were Mr. and Mrs, Hooten, Mr. and Mrs. John Good and son, Judge R. H. Good. Mrs. D. Todd and Mrs. Owen Hooten. Dr. Glanville, head of Southern Methodist University history department, was an authority on Italy's foreign relations, several of his books on this subject having been published.

Dr. James Linus Glanville, Southern Methodist University faculty member whose death in Dallas was reported, was a nephew of Mrs. L. F. Hooten here and spent his youth in Cooper. His father, a retired Methodist pastor, his mother and a sister, live in Greenville; a brother resides in Dallas, and his son teaches in the Technological Institute of California, in Pasadena.
