Ashlee Dawn Zimmer passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Orem after being hit by a drunk driver in front of her home.
Ashlee was born into an LDS family in Moscow, Idaho on October 28, 1990 to Daniel R. Zimmer and Lisa Lynnette Gunyan (Cox), their third child. She was homeschooled and loved singing in the Orem High School Choir. Ashlee earned her cosmetology degree at Marinello School of Beauty in Provo, Utah. She worked at Smart Style salon in S Jordan. Ashlee had a flare for the dramatic, she loved to write poetry and sing. The evening before she died she did what she loved most, she sang Karaoke at Callie's in Orem - her happy place!
On April 19, 2013, Ashlee married Nicholas A Glanville of Orem, UT. They were excited to spend their lives together.
Ashlee is survived by her parents Daniel and Sherry Zimmer & Lynnette Gunyan-Cox and Robert Cox. Ashlee's siblings are April Issacs, Adam Zimmer, Ayla Simmons, Tina Lopossa, Celena Roselas, and Bobby and Cassie Cox. Her grandfather Stanley Zimmer, grandparents Alicia and John Mason, grandparents Robert and Catherine Gunyan, and Great-Grandmother Lela Bultez.
Ashlee is also survived by her spouse Nicholas A. Glanville of Orem, Utah; his parents Kelley and Sandy Glanville; his siblings - Heather Call, Misty Steadman, Alex Glanville, and Dorian Glanville - and respective spouses, nieces, and nephews.
Ashlee joins her grandmother Shirley Zimmer and other loved ones.
Funeral services will be August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sundberg -Olpin Mortuary, 495 So. State St., Orem. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 pm and also Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. A memorial trust is at America First CU.
