Betty A. Davis, 78, Brainerd, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born to Virgil and Rose Glanville in Brainerd on Oct. 3, 1927. She married Delbert Davis in 1949.
She is survived by nine children, Eugene, and friend, Elaine, Ironton, Carol Doust, Brainerd, Linda (Pete) Turner, Pine River, Mary Tabor, Brainerd, Floyd (Buster) Davis, Key West, Fla., Nancy Davis, Tim (Patti), Brainerd, Carrie (Kevin) Stohls, Nisswa, and Kenneth, and friend, Anne, Brainerd; three sisters, June Carner, Brainerd, Mary Lou (Orlan) Simmon, Wis., and Bonnie Teague, Minneapolis; one brother, Earl Glanville, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Rosie Glanville, Iowa; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, one son, one grandson, one son-in-law and two brothers.
Services will be Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Capt. Brian Reed officiating. Interment will be at Dykeman Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home Friday.
