     He married Ann Isabel Hodson on 9 August 1922 at Winmarleigh, LAN, ENG, registered Garstang.
     He died on 11 July 1943 at Christie Street Hospital, Toronto, ONT, CAN; with obituary:
PTE. F. W. GLANFIELD DIES IN 42ND YEAR
     Private Fred W. Glanfield, 41, of the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, died at Christie Street hospital, Sunday. Private Glanfield's home in in Winfield, Sask. He is survived by his widow and three sons, Fred, 16, Oliver, 12 and Brian Adair, nine months. The deceased was stationed at Camp Borden until last February, when it became necessary to remove him to Christie Street hospital. He had been ill since February.
     The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2pm from the Ross J. Craig parlors, Queen St. W. Interment will be in Prospect cemetery. Rev. G. T. Lackey, Guelph, will officiate at the burial service.
