GLANDFIELD, Herbert James (Life member Newmarket Veterans' Association, 32nd Degree member of Tuscan Masonic Lodge 99 A.F. & A.M. and member of the Viking Shrine Club) Peacefully at the Willows Estate Nursing Home, Aurora on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in his 93rd year. Herbert Glandfield of Newmarket, beloved husband of Helen (nee Blanchard) and dear father of Paul and his wife Shirley of Innisfil, Marilyn of Woodham and Ken and his wife Nancy of Brampton. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michael and his wife Jill Munro, Laura and her husband Jay Roberts, and great-grandson Draven. Dear brother of Flo McPhail of Rexdale and Bill of Port Coquitlam, BC. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Main and Water Sts., Newmarket) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with visitation in the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
