His own 1900 census records himself born England, as his father, but his mother Welsh. His son William's 1900 census entry records William's father as being born England.
In fact he would have been born in Pembroke Wales as that is where his parents and siblings lived at that time.
     He married Emmeline Clealand before 1844 at the USA.
     He died in July 1903 at Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY, USA, (when age calculated as 91.)
     He was buried on 30 July 1903 at Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY, USA, recorded age 91.
