Frank Glanville, 74, Shawnee, KS, died Saturday, October 16, 2004, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 21 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, where the Rosary will be said. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sister Servants of Mary, 800 N. 18th St., Kansas City, KS, 66102, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund. Mr. Glanville was born October 20, 1929, in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. Frank was a partner in Glanville Furniture on Minnesota Ave. in Kansas City, KS, which his family owned from 1898 to 1980. He was a former member of the Kansas City, KS, Kiwanis Club, and a board member of the Heart of America Family and Children's Service, and the Terrace Club. He had been a volunteer with the Boy Scouts. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Marian Gail Glanville, and brother Joseph Charles Glanville, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loretta Glanville, of the home; son William C. Glanville and fiancée Deni Lasiter, McLouth, KS; two daughters, Bethann Smith and husband Paul, Overland Park, KS, and Laurie Lynn Harris and husband James, Shawnee, KS; two sisters, Mary Sue Croker, Nashville, TN, and Bette Jo Glanville, Livingston, TX; six grandchildren, Carri Glanville, Ashley Smith, Michelle Glanville, Colleen Smith, Sarah Foster, and Travis Glanville; and two great-grandsons, Collin and Austin Sanderson.
