Services for Mrs. Erma R. VanHorn, 79, of Mertztown R. D. 2, will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Mark A. Lauchnor will officiate in the William S. Fritz Funeral Home, Kutztown. Mrs. Van Horn died Friday morning in her residence.

Born in Peckville, Lackawanna County, a daughter of the late Richard H. and Lydia (Fink) Glanville, she was a member of Claussville (Schuylkill County) Garden Club. Her husband, Scott Van Horn. died on Nov. 2, 1973

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy R. Love, Miami, Fla.: two sons:' Scott Jr., Mentor. Ohio. and Richard W., Mertztown, R.D. 2: four grandchildren;' a great-grandson; and two brothers: Russell C. Glanville, Nanticoke, and Richard S. Glanville. Philadelphia.
