     Shelley Ann Blocka was born on 20 August 1962 at Prince Albert, SAS, CAN.

It is with very sad hearts that we announce the passing of Shelley Ann Blocka on March 7th, 2015 surrounded by her husband Art and good friend Vicki. Shelley was born August 20th , 1962 in Prince Albert, Sask. to Mike and Anne Blocka of the Clouston area. Shelley grew up on the family farm where she attended West Central School ,then Wesmor Junior High followed by Carlton High School, after which she attended University of Saskatchewan and enrolled in Agriculture. Shelley took a job as a Dairy Technician for a few years, it was then she decided to enter the field of Life Insurance and Financial Investments. In 1996 she moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. to continue working in this field.
It was when she moved to Nile, Ont. to start her own business that she met Vicki Culbert and they became very good friends. Her job sent her to Toronto numerous times, when there she enjoyed many visits with her Aunt Ruth.
Shelley suffered a very serious motorcycle accident in 1998, which Vicki helped Shelley recover from. In 2001 she met Art Glanville, and in 2002 their relationship evolved and they moved in together and resided in Walton, Ont. In 2009 Shelley and Art moved back to the original family home in the Clouston area.
In the fall of 2014 they formalized their relationship by marrying on Oct. 25th with the ceremony right at their home. It was at this time that Shelley decided to sell her business to concentrate on her health. Shelley lived life on her own terms and was unstoppable until her passing, along the way she earned the respect of many people through her journey.
Shelley became a strong voice for changes in patient health care that governments needed to recognize and put those ideas forward to Medical People, area MLAs and right to the provincial Minister of Health. She even sent letters to the Federal leaders indicating changes that were needed in the health care field for patients, Shelley became a strong advocate for what she believed needed to be improved for patient care.
Shelley is survived by her loving husband Art Glanville, his sons John( Jeanine ) Glanville and Kyle Glanville girlfriend Aerial. By her siblings and their spouses, Rose (Pete) Vantriet, Arlene Myers, Terri (Walter) Krushelniski, Leonard (Linda) Blocka, Ron (Terry) Blocka, Don(Verna) Blocka, Dave(Diane) Blocka, Brian(Angele) Blocka, Cathy (Brian) McIntosh. Her Brother-inlaws, Lloyd(Maybel)Glanville, Alex(Gail)Glanville, Ken(Betty)Glanville, Lorne(Bonnie)Glanville, Roy(Karleen)Glanville, Les(Cathy)Glanville, Sisters-in-laws, Marjorie(Richard Horst), Eileen Duncan, Marlene(Don Hill). Numerous nieces and nephews to many to mention, a very large extended family.
Shelley was predeceased by her brother in law Dwight Myers and nephew Ken Myers, also by her parents Mike and Annie Blocka. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 12th, 2015 at 2 PM at the MacDowall Rec Center. There will also be A Celebration of Shelley’s Life which will be held on Sunday, April 19th, 2015 at Kinburn Hall, in Kinburn, Ont. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Prince Albert, Sask. Donations in memory of Shelley can be made to the following, Prince Albert S.P.C.A. or Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.

     Catherine Verna Zimmer was born on 22 March 1949 at Zurich, ONT, CAN.
     She married Leslie Glanville, son of John Clarence Arthur Glanville and Winnifred Irene McCallum, after 1971 at CAN.
     She died on 18 January 2017 at Wingham and District Hospital, Seaforth, Huron Co., ONT, CAN, (when age calculated as 67); with obituary:
Cathy passed peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Wingham and District Hospital on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Born in Zurich, Ontario, on March 22, 1949, Catherine Verna Glanville (nee Zimmer) of Lucknow, formerly of Walton, was in her 68th year.
Loving wife of Les Glanville of Lucknow. Cherished mother of Doris (Lyle) Hood of Seaforth, Veronica (Steve) Stevenson of Brussels, and the late John Leslie Glanville (1981). Beloved Grandma Kitty of William (Robin), Wyatt and Leah. Cathy will be deeply missed by sisters, Evelyn of Egmondville, Annette (Brent) of London, Mary Ellen Williamson of Thorndale, and her brothers, Leo (Janet) Zimmer of British Columbia and Jack Doyle of Toronto.
Predeceased by her parents Earle Zimmer and the former Genevieve LaPlante, step-father Mike Doyle, three sisters, Barbara Arnezeder, Patricia Dawson and Rose Doyle, and her brother Carl Zimmer.
She fills the hearts but leaves an empty chair at the Glanville family table and will be fondly remembered by her Glanville in-laws, Lloyd (Mabel) of Brussels, Alex (Gail) of Saskatchewan, Ken (Betty) of RR#4 Walton, Lorne (Bonnie) of RR#4 Walton, Roy (Karleen) of Rostock, Marj (Richard) Horst of Harpurhey, Eileen Duncan (Eric McGregor) of Seaforth, Marleen (Don) Hill of Brussels and Arthur of Saskatchewan.
Cathy will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, January 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Hall officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Northside United Church Hall, Seaforth, and spring interment will take place in Maitland Bank Cemetery, McKillop Township.
