     Sarah Dyer was born before 1742; Sarah Dyer baptisms were recorded 1743 at Ottery St Mary (parents Thomas and Mary), and 1742 at Venn Ottery (parents Richard and Sarah of Ottery) (Venn Ottery being less than 4 miles from Ottery St Mary), also 1742 at Buckerell (Sally ye daughter of Thomas Dyer and Sarah) (Buckerell being less than 5 miles from Ottery St Mary.)
     She married Thomas Glanville circa 1762 although no formal marriage may have taken place, as baptism records George a base child and children Daniel and Frances's mother was named with surname Dyer.
