weake of body of of sound and perfect mind and memory priafed
be god doe make and ordaine this my last will and teftament
in manner ffollowing ffirst and before all things elfe I comend
my soule to god that gave it in hopes of a joyfull resurrection at
the last day in and through the only merritts of Jefus Christ my
blefsed saviour and redeemer and my body to the earth to be
decently and chriftianly buried according to the discretion of my
executrix herein after named and as concerning the things of this
prefent life where with God hath blefsed me I given and difpose
thereof in manner fflowing Imprimis I give and bequesth unto
John Corke of the city and county of Exeter aforesaid woolcomber
one guinea of gold Item I give and bequeath unto Susannah
Penny my couzen and servant maid one guinea of gold Item
all the reft of my goods and chattells not herein before given or
bequeathed (my debts legacies and ffuneral charges ffirst paid
and defrayed) I give and bequeath unto my well belove wife
Mary Glanvill whom I make and ordayne sole executrix of
