At Liskeard, on Friday last, Mr. Julius Glanville, currier, of that town, whose death was occasioned by a fall from his horse, in returning from Callington, on the 3rd instant. Mr. Glanville's skull was so seriously fractured by the fall, and his brain and other parts of his body so much injured, that all the skill of his medical attendants was unavailing.
He has left a wife and nine children.

Brougham Glanville, deceased's son stated that on Sunday morning when he awoke he found his father lying dead by his side. He was ashy pale and his arm was cold. The witness sent for a doctor at once. By the Coroner. - His father wore false teeth. Dr J F Rugg desposed to being summoned to see the old man, and found him lying dead in bed. He discovered a plate of false teeth tightly wedged in his through just above the windpipe. In his opinion death was due to suffocation. Ellen Allen said that the deceased often used to drop his teeth out of his mouth; she believed his gums must have sunk. The jury returned a verdict of Accidental Death"
Cause of death (death certif): Found dead in bed 8 Apr 1888, Accidental death by act of false teeth pressing into his throat.
Death registered St Olave, recording age 85.
