Garold Paul Glanville, 60, of Duluth passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2011.
Garold was born in Biwabik, MN on January 12, 1951 to William and Irene Glanville. He graduated from high school in Biwabik before going on to Mesabi Community College. Later on he moved to Duluth and attended WITC for a couple of years. Garold worked at several area businesses including Edison Charter Schools where he was employed until his death. Garold was a very passionate, big hearted man who was kind yet spoke his mind. Everything important to him in his life started with F, family, friends, fishing, food and football. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Garold is survived by two sons Garret (Jennifer) Glanville of Hermantown and Seth (Jaime) Mitchell of Hoyt Lakes; two brothers, Roy Glanville of Duluth and Bill (Joan) Glanville of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Chase, Jaxx, Allie, Mattie and Kaitlyn as well as many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home 601 N. 56th Ave. W. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family invites all who knew Garold to celebrate his life at The North Pole 5606 Raleigh Street in West Duluth from 1-3 P.M. following the service on Friday. Bell Brothers Funeral Home 624-5745.
