Louise Glanville Low, 75, 111 W. Dayton Ave., Dayton died Thursday in the Dayton General Hospital. Born June 11,1898 in Dayton, she was reared and educated in this area. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glanville, farmed on Cahill, near Dayton. She married W. Jay Low in Walla Walla and they farmed near Covello until his death in 1942. She then made her residence in Dayton. Mrs. Low was a housekeeper for several years at Old Brining Memorial Hospital and for a short period of time at Dayton General Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ilene) Nelson of Spokane; two sons, Dean Low of Auburn, Wash, and Gareth Low of Longview; one sister, Mrs. John Gales of Whidbey Island; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at the Dayton City Cemetery with Rev. Donald Lang officiating.

COOPER—Mrs. Lizzie Glanville, of Cooper, nearly 91. widow of the Rev. C. W. Glanville, Methodists minister, died Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at Wheatland Retreat in Dallas. She had been there about three weeks, after being in failing health sometime. The funeral will be held here Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at First Methodist where she was a member., the Rev. Julian Thomas will officiate. McDonald will make burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Daughter of J. A. and Sarah Baker Good, Mrs. Glanville was born in Missouri, August 19, 1870. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Ruth Glanville, Cooper; a son Paul Glanville, Dallas; 20 other descendants; a sister, Mrs. L. F. Hooten, Sr.; and a brother Tom Good, both of Cooper.
     She was buried in 1961 at Oaklawn Cemetery, Cooper, TX, USA.

Dr. Glanville, head of Southern Methodist University history department, was an authority on Italy's foreign relations, several of his books on this subject having been published.

His father, a retired Methodist pastor, his mother and a sister, live in Greenville; a brother resides in Dallas, and his son teaches in the Technological Institute of California, in Pasadena.
