Charles Glanville was born circa August 1851 at Kensington, MDX, ENG; registered Kensington.He married Mary Poole on 5 September 1875 at St Georges parish church, Bloomsbury, St Pancras, MDX, ENG, registered St Giles. After banns, both of full age. Bachelor and spinster. Fathers named Charles Mark Glanville plumber, Edward Poole carrier.
Daughter named Lawrena Plumber in 1881 census; however, husband's occupation was Plumber so may have been transcription error.)
He died on 5 October 1928 at 229 Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush, MDX, ENG; recorded age 77, registered Hammersmith.

Reference made to the FW Glanville Will Trust who was joint tenant for life with his brother George Glanville of the residuary estate of FW Glanville. EH Glanville Will Trust who was a joint life tenant with his brother George Glanville of the residuary estate of his mother Mrs E H Glanville. Reference is made to Mary Glanville who retained his furniture and effects (wife) but then reference is made to her death on 2 February 1929. Since her death 3 of the daughters of the Testator occupied No 229 Goldhawk road. In the will there are mentioned rents from 11 properties in London.
He was buried on 11 October 1928 at Old Brompton Cemetery, Earls Court, MDX, ENG, recorded age 77.

Charles and Mary Poole had 12 children by the 1911 census, four having died by that date.On 3 July 1894 The London Gazette listed:
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us: the undersigned, Frederick William Glanville and Charles Glanville, carrying on business as Builders and Decorators, at 11, Church-walk, Kensington, London, W., under the style or firm of Larner and Glanville, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 24th day of June, 1894. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Charles Glanville.—Dated this 29th day of June, 1894.

Pursuant to the Trustee Act, 1925.
NOTICE is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands against the estate of Charles Glanville, late of 229, Goldhawk-road, Shepherds Bush, in the county of Middlesex, Esquire, deceased, who died on the 5th day of October, 1928; and whose will was proved in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division of His Majesty's High Court of Justice on the 26th day of January, 1929, by Mary Glanville and Malcolm Clark, the executors therein named, are hereby requested to send particulars, in writing, of their debts, claims or demands to us, the undersigned, on or before the twelfth day of October, 1929, after which date the said executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the debts, claims or demands of which they shall then have had notice; and they will not be liable for the assets of the said deceased, or any part thereof, so distributed, to any person or persons of whose debt, claim or demand they shall not thea have had notice.—Dated this 19th day of July, 1929,
